Description

• Responsible for the day-to-day management of all Accounting/Finance functions in order to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and control of all financial information of the Company in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Maximizes return on assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems. 
• Establish control-related standards and procedures. 
• Directs month-end and year-end closing functions and the resulting periodic financial statement preparation in accordance with GAAP guidance.
• Communicates and interprets the results of operations to the Controller on a monthly basis by comparing and analyzing actual performance metrics with operating plans and standards.
• Directs the development of new finance and accounting systems/automation and related policies and procedures in order to increase efficiencies, obtain improved financial information, and enhance analytical capabilities.
• Establishes, coordinates, and administers the Company's accounting policies and procedures to ensure the protection of Company assets via an established system of internal controls.
• Directs the annual budgeting process and the ongoing forecasts and/or significant proposed changes to annual budgets.
• Advises Controller on various financial and accounting issues
